Krispy Kreme and other chains offering freebies for voting on Election Day

Ahead of Election Day, voters across the country have been lining up early to cast their ballots.

As of October 28, CNET reports that over 71 million votes have already been cast, with more than 44 million via mail-in-ballots.

Those that do not want to vote in person have the option to drop off their mail-in ballot at a polling location or through the United States Post Office.

For making your voice heard, chains are offering free food and discounts for hungry voters and poll workers on Election Day.

While you wait in line to cast your vote, "Today" created a list of chains offering deals and freebies on November 3rd.

Here are some incredible deals you can find while celebrating your civic duty to vote.

Krispy Kreme

On November 3, doughnut lovers can head over to Krispy Kreme and receive a free Original Glazed Doughnut and receive an “I Voted” sticker. There is no proof of voting required to participate.

Boston Market

Election Day results can happen well into the evening and beyond. Boston Market is offering one free slider from 9 a.m. to close at all locations with no purchase necessary. This includes slider options such as Turkey Cheddar, BBQ Meatloaf, Chicken Cheddar and Chicken Chipotle.

Chopt Creative Salad Co

The famous salad chain is offering free meals to poll workers on Election Day. To receive the meal, election workers must show proof which includes a pin, email confirmation or badge. The offer is a $15 value.

Dos Toros

If you are planning to eat at Dos Toros, the food chain is offering poll works one free-in-store entree. The entree is up to a $15 value on Election Day. You must show proof to receive this offer.

Enlightened

Do you love ice cream? Enlightened is giving away a coupon for free ice-cream to any Instagram user who mentions the word “vote” and tags @eatenlightened on their story on November 3.
