1 New Zealand

From the Tiritiri Matangi Island to the Old Ghost Road, this is the perfect place to take a trip to and explore outside of the United States. The old Ghost Road is the perfect place to go mountain biking and tramping trail. The long-forgotten Gold Miners road connects the old dray road in the Lyell to the Mokihinui River in the north. Going on this road, you can even find 4 ghosts towns making the 85km-long trail basically an outdoor museum.

If you are more into resorts, don’t worry, there are a lot of those also! Beautiful beach and city resorts and hotels that will for sure work for your relaxed lifestyle. Paihia Beach, lake view resorts, Shingle beach, there’s something for every resort centric person.

2 Amsterdam

Yes, we know about the weed café’s and the wild red-light district that is available in Amsterdam, but on a second glance, this beautiful city is a perfect destination to go explore and have a great time.

The city is beautiful with over 60 miles of canals that make amazing aesthetic for your abroad travel pics. Another cool thing about Amsterdam is that the biking scene is huge, where there are actually more bikes in Amsterdam than people!

You can even visit the Anne Frank house or go to the Museumplein, home of the Van Gogh Museum and other museums of the sort, you’ll be able to take in some of the Amsterdam culture and history.

3  Montreal

Keeping it more simple and closer to home, Montreal is a great place to go to experience a difference culture and country. 4 Peru

A great place to explore Incan Ruins, Peru is an adventure you and your friends will never forget. Macchu Pichu is an obvious must-see destination when exploring this South American country. Yes, we know we’re going sentimental with this one, but it’s always a fun time going home and seeing how things have changed or stayed the same. Relive some of your best child hood moments by going to play on the swing set of your old elementary school or going to the old bowling alley you and your friends used to go to every week. See your parents if they still live there and visit some old friends for a drink. Take the time to reflect on how far you have come since living in your old town.
