THE OSCARS WERE LAST NIGHT AND THE BIG WINNER WAS OF COURSE, A MOVIE MOST OF US HAVEN’T SEEN, “PARASITE,” WON BEST PICTURE. JOAQUIN PHOENIX WON BEST ACTOR FOR “JOKER” AND WAS CLEARLY THE MOST WOKE IN THE ROOM.

SOME OTHER HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE RENEE ZELLWEGER WINNING BEST ACTRESS FOR “JUDY", LAURA DERN WINNING BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS FOR “MARRIAGE STORY” AND BRAD PITT WINNING BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR FOR “ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD”.

HOSTS KRISTIN WIIG AND MAYA RUDOLF DID A MEDLEY OF SONGS WHICH LED TO WHAT IS SURE TO BE THE GIF OF THE WEEK, AS THE CAMERA CUT TO BILLIE ELISH WHO WAS GRITTING AT THEIR PERFORMANCE.

SPEAKING OF BILLIE, SHE PERFORMED “YESTERDAY” FOR THE IN MEMORIAM SEGMENT, AND FANS NOTICED IT LEFT OUT 90210 ACTOR, LUKE PERRY.

AND PHILADELPHIA'S OWN GRITTY CONTINUED TO MAKE NATIONAL HEADLINES AND WAS MENTIONED AGAIN ON SNL.
