Demi's mom speaks about the night her daughter was rushed to the emergency room.

Demi Lovato’s mom, Dianna De La Garza, spoke out for the first time since Demi’s overdose back in July.

Garza recalled in an with Newsmax TV the night the overdose occurred. She said that that night her and her other daughters, Dallas and Madison, quickly hopped in the car and went to the emergency room to be by Demi’s side.

When Garza got to Demi’s side she told her that she was there and that she loved her, to which Demi replied “I love you too.”

“She’s working on her sobriety, and she’s getting the help she needs. That in itself encourages me about her future and about our family.” She told Newsmax TV.
