Sometimes you just don't have time for breakfast.

With a busy life style, it’s hard to stay healthy and eat your 3 meals a day. Waking up early enough to make a nutritious breakfast is always something of a problem if your someone who works all day and is too tired to wake up the next morning. So, here’s a few recipes that are quick and are sure to give you the nutrition you need to get through the day!

Banana and nut butter toast

This “not so PB&J” is a great way to get in your grains, fruits and protein in the morning to help brain function and give you the energy to persevere through, say, a Monday.

Berry and yogurt Smoothie

Yep, it’s as simple as it sounds. A fruity start to your day, blend together yogurt, frozen fruit, Greek yogurt and a liquid of your choosing! You can make this easily the night before and keep it in a closed container in your fridge for a quick pick up when your headed out in the morning!

Egg on Avocado Toast

Delicious and easy, all you need is some whole grain bread, an avocado, and a couple of eggs. This might take a little longer to cook from the egg having to be cooked in the pan, but it is a rewarding breakfast that is quite delicious.

Crock Pot Egg Casserole

An overnight casserole, so there is no work at all in the morning. Start the meal the night before by layering vegetables of your choosing, sausage, and cheese topped with a mixture of eggs and cream to create a delicious, fluffy breakfast that is quick in the morning, and can probably feed you all week!

Sweet Potato and Black Bean Breakfast Burrito

These are an easy creation that you can make on Monday and freeze throughout the week as a breakfast or a snack. A combination of eggs, cheese, sweet potato. black beans, and avocado wrapped together to make a wonderful breakfast or snack. Cover it with tin foil, stick in the freezer, and just quick pop it in the microwave and you’re good to go!
