On Sunday, July 14th at the Casino at Delaware Park, you’re invited to indulge in samples of the region's finest chocolate dishes and to vote for your favorite. One chocolate purveyor will emerge as the Quest For The Best champion.  Let’s meet one of our finalists, McNally’s Tavern and their dish, Meg’s Chocolate Cake.

On the search to cure your chocolate craving? Look no further, McNally’s Tavern of Chestnut Hill has you covered! Their chocolate cake is thick in volume, and filled with flavor. Served by the slice, McNally’s Tavern provides astounding quality for a classic dish.

McNally’s Tavern originated as “McNally’s Quick Lunch” in 1921 thanks to Rose McNally. Today, her great-granddaughters Anne and Meg are following in her footsteps running the tavern. From starters through lunch and dinner, Anne and Meg curate delectable dishes that revolve around the most important part of the dining experience - dessert.

Some say eating chocolate right before bed may cause nightmares, but McNally’s moist chocolate cake courtesy of Meg McNally herself is nothing but a dream come true at any time, day or night. Sliced in large portions and topped with a thick layer of chocolate frosting to compliment, it’s easy to see why McNally’s is one of the finalists taking part in this year’s Quest For The Best event.
