Chef Francesco Crovetti has brought the taste of Rome across the waters to the city of brotherly love at Rione Pizza al Taglio! Francesco shares that prepping pizza was a tradition in his Nonna’s kitchen. After being involved in the business through D.C., Philadelphia, and spending time perfecting his craft studying pizza al taglio (by the cut) through attending Rome’s Scuola Nazionale di Pizza, the Rome native opened Rione in May 2017 with his wife and co-owner Alison.

Rione’s pizza dough is created from scratch as the base of endless combinations. Options including Classic Cheese, to Carbonara featuring pancetta, egg cream, pecorino and black pepper are available by the cut and by the tray. Not to mention their Marinara cut is 100% vegan. With sandwiches, sides, desserts, and more, let your taste buds explore Rione’s signature Roman tastes!
