Famous Hollywood Hot Dog Stand Pink's Coming to King of Prussia

The family-owned business, frequented by celebrities, is opening its first Pennsylvania store!

Get ready to eat really well this summer.

Legendary Hollywood food stand, Pink's, is coming to the King of Prussia Mall in a few short months!

This business is an institution, and has been since the 1930's.  And during that time, it has developed QUITE the celebrity following.

It all started with Paul and Betty Pink, selling hot dogs from a pushcart in Hollywood for a loyal fanbase of celebrities.  Over time, the business grew, with a permanent stand still at the corner of La Brea and Melrose, where people have been known to wait over an hour for a single chili cheese dog.  Autographed headshots decorate the walls, gifted by the many stars who count the hot dogs among their favorites.

And now, with the opening of its first Pennsylvania Store, Pink's is hoping to emulate that success out of KOP.  As Philadelphia Eater reports, "Along with chili dogs, the KOP location will serve a Chicago Polish dog (mustard, relish, onions, lettuce, tomato), a veggie dog, and, of course, a Philly Cheesesteak Dog, among other choices."  Additional good news is that many of those autographed celebrity headshots will adorn the walls of the KOP location, so you can try to spot your favorite actors while waiting for your food!

Pink's is planning for a late summer opening, and you can bet we'll be there with empty bellies and great expectations!
