If you've ever been in the hospital, you know that it's not easy.  The boredom, the loss of body autonomy, all the doctors...it's easy to get pretty down, pretty fast.

One Kansas senior high-schooler knows this all too well.  Madison Taliaferro suffers from cystic fibrosis, a chronic illness affecting the pulmonary and digestive systems.  She is currently hospitalized to wait for a double lung transplant.  (She had the same operation six years ago, before her lung function started to decrease.)

Madison, who is a teenager in every other sense, however, recently received a surprise after her nurses came up with a scheme.  As she loves musicals and loves to sing, they conspired to get the singer/songwriter to the hospital to sing for her!

Mraz performed his hit songs including “I’m Yours” and “Have It All.”  The video has wracked up almost 80,000 views and counting.  Here's sending a shoutout to Jason for brightening the day of someone who could really use it with his talent!
