Susan G. Komen: Bringing Hope to Philadelphia

The 2018 Race for the Cure is May 13th!

April 3, 2018

Every year, 40,000 people die of breast cancer in the U.S.  Not just women, not just the elderly, not just a particular ethnic group...breast cancer does not discriminate, and it's a safe bet we've all known someone who has been affected by the disease, or have a personal experience ourselves.

For the Susan G. Komen Foundation, that is unacceptable.

The organization strives to improve the length and quality of life for breast cancer sufferers, leading the way in fundraising for breast cancer research and support.  And YOU can join Susan G. Komen Philadelphia in achieving the ultimate ultimate cure...with the 2018 Race for the Cure!

The event is May 13th...that's Mothers' Day...and it is a feast for the senses.  Survivors, supporters, and advocates come together in a sea of pink for the race/walk, taking strength from one another, sharing stories, and working towards a common purpose.  When it comes to the fight against breast cancer, we are all one family, undivided by race, religion, or socioeconomic status.  And the Race for the Cure is a family reunion, bringing us all together in a celebration of life and hope.

You can sign up for the race, form a team, or donate today at the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia website, or by simply clicking here.
