The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival Returns to Franklin Square

This year, the Chinese Lantern Festival here in Philadelphia will once again become the shining center of Franklin Square.

With over 29 brand new and vibrant illuminated creations and sculptures, alongside handcrafted Chinese keepsakes, cultural performances andeven a "Dragon Beer Garden," this year's festival is sure to exceed your expectations.

In year's past, the sculptures have included creatures of the sea, mythology, and of the forest. The sculptures themselves are actually made up of silk and over 20,000 LED lights!

The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival is being held from Wednesday, May 1st all the way until Sunday, June 30th, 2019.
